7kW, 22kW or more?

7kW chargers are the most commonly installed installed at home, these take are 7 hours to get your battery charged to where it needs to be, whilst not being so powerful you cant turn the kettle on!

22kW chargers are the go-to when there is a 3-phase supply available, this output is capable of charging most cars from empty to full in around 3.5 hours. You'll often find these installed as dual sockets, meaning 2 vehicles can each charge at 11kWs each. A great way to save money on hardware costs if installing for a fleet of vehicles.

More - chargers above 22kW output are usually direct DC charging they start in outputs of 40kW this will get your car charged in around an hour or so.
